A Sunday DITL
Upon waking, I join the husband in watching some F1 racing
After a few minutes, I go looking for breakfast
I love this cereal
Read my Southern Living magazine
Then go through my Pinterest to find something to cook for dinner. We have friends coming over!
Doofy dog hangs out and waits for attention
I get up to put my dishes in the sink, and come back to find that Piper has taken over my computer
Then she climbs into my lap and blends in with my pajamas
Sexy biker husband heads out for a race
And I take a shower
Guess I should make the bed
There we go!
After walking back downstairs, I think that maybe the island should be cleaned off, since we're having company later. Remy agrees.
Much better
Give Logan his cookie
Which he promptly puts down at the front door
And head out to run errands
First to pick up a prescription
And get a birthday card for my sister
Then get some cash
And go to the grocery store
After getting home, I turn these ingredients
Into this pie!
Put dishes in the dishwasher (removing cat before closing)
Then go upstairs to tackle the books. My parents are moving, so I had to take all my stuff out of their house!
But I don't get very far before Keith gets home
Take the pie out of the oven
Then we go out for food and more errands
Petsmart for crickets (and cat food and litter)
Payless to return a pair of shoes
Kohl's to see if I can find a new pair of shorts (but I don't)
And Target because I forgot the ice cream when I went to the grocery store
Then it's back to the books
I also took my mom's old books! Nancy Drew, Bobbsey Twins and more! I loved reading these books as a kid, knowing that my mom read them first.
Hooray!
Then I fix my nails
Piper's favorite spot
Then I start dinner
Step two
Oven-ready!
Friends arrive, and they bring wine!
Doesn't take much time for the baby to need changing
Dinner's ready!
And now, the many faces of Carter!
After they leave, Keith finishes putting the dishes in the dishwasher
Then we finish watching the race from this morning
And I work on this sock for my mom
Remy made himself comfy
I take Logan out for his last pee of the day
Then I go upstairs and brush my teeth
Take meds
Take out the contacts
And read myself to sleep. Good night!
