Thanksgiving/Chanukah DITL!
Haven't done a DITL in ages, so I figured Thanksgiving/Chanukah was the perfect day :)
I was awake, but pulled out of bed because a certain kitty would not shut up. He then came running up the stairs as soon as he saw me
Piper thinks her brother is stupid
Oh yeah, and we got a puppy
This is Logan
Potty break
Husband and I have breakfast
And watch New Girl
Then I change into bike clothes to go for a ride...
In the house! Way too cold to do it outside
Remy entertains himself by chasing pieces of food
And Piper plays with a new toy (Chanukah present from Grandma!)
Gotta watch the Macy's parade
That's about one slice of pie, right?
Logan has been waiting upstairs for me to be done. He doesn't like the trainer.
Shower time!
Put on clothes (not pictured) and jewelry
Piper looks comfy, but the bed needs to be made
All done! A time check shows I better get moving
I come into the kitchen to see this
My alma mater's marching band appears in the parade! Woohoo!
Using yet another wedding toy to make pie-making easier
Remy is fascinated
Not pictured: a trip to the grocery store to pick this up, since it turned out I had the wrong crust
Pie in the oven! I wish I'd known before putting it in the oven that it would make such a mess. It wasn't originally on that cookie sheet!
Then made the caramel sauce to go with it
This is what a dishwasher is for.

Run up to the guest room to wrap presents
Done!
Anyone recognize this bed? Remy ran into the room and jumped right in.
Out of the oven!
We are magically at my in-laws' house. Pretend that you saw us packing up the car, picking up Omi (Keith's grandma) and unpacking. Now it's present time!
What I end up with! Although this is not all of it because we exchanged gifts with Keith's parents and Omi the night before

After dinner, we light candles. Sadly, my new menorah is missing because nobody thought to tell me to bring mine!

Some time passes in which we do nothing interesting. And then it's dessert time!
My pie turned out delicious! It's an apple caramel blondie pie, in case you were wondering :)
I wish there had been leftovers of this
I got my sister to take a nice Thanksgiving pic of us
Logan gets his dinner
I also get the same sister to do a fishtail braid in my pathetic amount of hair.
And then said sister tortures other sister before leaving
Upon getting home, we hang out and watch tv. Piper chills in a box.
I browse through my Pinterest to see what to make for the next night. I made cookies Wednesday night, pie Thursday night, cupcakes Friday night, sugar cookies Saturday night, and baked ziti Sunday night. Whew!
Take puppy for one last walk
My tooth-brushing picture mysteriously disappeared. But I did that, and also TOOK ALL THE PILLS.
