Wild Salmon in a light Lemon-Dill Sauce

Jul 21, 2009 12:02

I've been going to the weekly Farmer's Market in town, and among the fresh options available is wild Alaskan sockeye salmon. The flavor is amazing! And so I try not to do it a disservice by coating it in marinades or heavy sauce.

INGREDIENTS

* 1 pound wild Alaska salmon fillets
* 2 tbsp butter, melted
* 3 tablespoons lemon juice
* 1/2 teaspoon dried dill weed
* 1/4 diced garlic
* sea salt to taste
* freshly ground black pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
2. Place salmon in the baking dish. Mix the butter, dill, and lemon juice in a small bowl, and drizzle over the salmon. Season with salt and pepper.
3. Bake 25 minutes in the preheated oven, or until salmon is easily flaked with a fork.
