1 Sourdough English Muffin
1 tbsp salsa or any kind of hot sauce
1 tsp butter
1 Egg
I slice Muenster cheese or any kind you have
1. Toast english muffin to desired color.
2. While toasting the muffin, crack egg in small microwavable bowl. You can fry the egg on the stove, but I usually make this breakfast at work where only a microwave is provided. Depending on the microwave, the egg can take anywhere from 30 seconds to a minute and a half. Just check the egg every 30 seconds.
3. Put butter and salsa on english muffin. Cut cheese in half and put a slice of each muffin. Place egg on muffin and top with other side.
The cheese isn't as gooey as a McDonald's McMuffin, but this version is so much better calorie-wise.
