Wow that looks good! My recipe has coconut milk!

Well the recipe i used called for mixing in sweet coconut, like shaved, but nobody in the house likes coconut so.... it was 'forgotten'

maybe I'll try it with coconut milk next time! Thanks!

"Ono" Butter Mochi
Linda Lee

1 box Mochiko Flour
1 block butter (quarters) well softened
5 eggs
2 1/2 to 3 c. sugar
1 can Coconut Milk
1 can Evaportated Milk
1/2 cup Milk or Water
1 T. Vanilla
3 tsp Baking Powder
1 c. Coconut Flakes

Preheat the oven at 350 degrees. Add all ingredients
in a large mixing bowl. Use an approx. 10x 15" pan &
wipe with butter wrapper to coat evenly. Mix
ingredients using an electric hand mixer at medium
speed until all ingredients are well-blended. Pour
into pan and place in center rack. Bake for 1 hour and
5 minutes. Turn off heat and leave in oven for
another 5 to 10 minutes before removing. Cool and cut
desired squares. Serve in muffin cups.
