My mom used to make weenie crescents for us when we were kids, but I've never really liked hot dog weenies (vegetarian or otherwise). I do, however, like sausage, so I decided to do the same thing but with vegetarian breakfast sausage.
Vegetarian Breakfast Crescents
Ingredients:
1 pkg. frozen
Morningstar Farms vegetarian sausage links (you can use a different brand if you prefer)
1 pkg. refrigerated roll out crescent rolls
4 slices cheddar cheese, halved into triangles
Preheat oven to 375 degrees (or whatever your crescent roll package says). On a cookie sheet, lay out all of the crescent roll triangles and put a triangle of cheese on them. Place your frozen veggie sausage links on the wide end of the triangles and roll up each crescent roll with the cheese and veggie sausage inside. Bake for 12 minutes at 375 or according to your crescent roll package directions.
