Cherries!
This year we have had a bumper crop of cherries. We don't know if it's the fact that the trees haven't been pruned for two years or perhaps all the sun that we had in May and June, but nevertheless, we have a TON of cherries! We've been eating as many as we can and last night I was able to make a cherry crumb cake. Mum and I are freezing the ones that are split or otherwise imperfect but it's very hard to keep up.
