I'm reading the Dragonlance series by Weiss and Hickman, and I'm loving it.  I've read the War of Souls Trilogy, the War of the Lance Trilogy, and am reading Summer Flame right now.  Good writing. R's right when he compares them to Tolkein.  I mean, not up to the same level, but as close as anyone else has come, maybe.
