Oh, my goodness.  That was such an amazing book.  ( Don't read this if you haven't read the book, or it might give away too much. Not giving intentional spoilers, but who knows.... )

I'm reading the Dragonlance series by Weiss and Hickman, and I'm loving it.  I've read the War of Souls Trilogy, the War of the Lance Trilogy, and am reading Summer Flame right now.  Good writing. R's right when he compares them to Tolkein.  I mean, not up to the same level, but as close as anyone else has come, maybe.
