Clive looked around, shaking his head. He hadn't expected to see the place so quiet, but he supposed that even demons needed some time off. Angel had heard of Willy's through the grapevine, and decided to check the place out for himself. As he entered, keen eyes took in his surrounding. Practically empty, and a complete dive. Exactly what he'd been expecting.

He walked over to the bar and took a seat near the end.

It had been a while since Adam had ventured out on his own since acquiring his new roommate, (though that was certainly not what the boy was to the vampire these days). Willy's had become one of his favorite bars, since it wasn't littered with giddy teenagers and arrogant college students like the bronze.

A quick survey of the establishment found Clive, someone Adam had the thrill of meeting before and even working with. And an unfamiliar face at the end of the bar that he'd not seen before. However, Adam could tell it was another vampire. He figured he'd keep his distance for now, just to gain an idea if the other kindred was hostile or not.

He headed over to the man, lifting a hand in a greeting and took a seat next to him without so much as asking.

"Long time no see, man" the green eyed vampire said, "I see you're still hanging about with the less social of the city"

Clive nodded, and shrugged. "Yeah, well, the less social don't usually talk to me, and sometimes you just need some fucking quiet, you know?"

He turned and looked Adam over, smirking. "You're looking well enough, considering last time. Whatever happened with that, anyway?"

Adam's brow knotted between his eyes as he thought hard to himself, trying to recollect what Clive was referring to. "What happened with what?" he asked, hoping the man could clarify for him.

Clive stared at Adam, amused. "Uh, you think you'd remember getting a shot in the junk from a scary leatherchick..unless you really do keep your brains in there." He grinned. "In other words, what you're saying is, it didn't go well and you didn't get any. I coulda warned you about her, but did you listen? I hope you got her number, at least? Maybe she's got a sister that's less violent?"

Angel had ordered his drink and sat quietly, keeping an ear open. He'd take information where he could get it, and if there was anything brewing in the town of Sunnydale, this bar might be the place to find out about it.

"Thanks" Adam retorted, clinking his bottle to Clive's as well and tossed back a good drink from it.

Adam noticed Clive glancing to the other vampire and he too stole a glance or two before finally leaning in, his voice a hushed tone, a low chuckle under the words. "What's up with Mr. Pouty Pants over there ya think?"

"Beats me. Maybe he's been stood up. Not my business, anyway." Clive finished his beer and stood up. "Well, gotta go take care of some business. Back in a second."

He made his way to the bathroom, taking care to walk past the guy who might or might not have been listening to his conversation with Adam.

Faustina liked to go to Willy's - there were interesting people there, people like her, people not-like-her. Occasionally she even saw someone she knew, like today. She hadn't seen the vampire for a while, but she remembered him fondly enough to approach.

She smiled brightly and headed over to the broody man. "Angel-not-angelic, hello!"

Angel's head turned to the girl who addressed him. He gave a nod in hello.

"Faustina, right?" he said.

"Yes, you remember... hello."

The cheerful girl invited herself to sit next to him, and settled onto a barstool.

"How are you? Is the human holiday season pretty, or what? I like all the sparkly lights!"

Angel's lips twitched in the hint of a smile. "Yeah, things get... shiny around this time of year."
