Ariel, the quiet, slightly mischevious new girl at Sunnydale High, was on her way into the club, juuuust about to the bouncer, when she spotted Rachel.

Normally, her fake ID was enough to get her in, but... this could pose a problem.

"Dammit!" she said to herself. "That's Ms. Lee! How the hell do I pull this off now?"

So, hoping against all hope that Rachel wouldn't recognize her, since she was so new, she just went about her way, walking up to the bouncer, who normally let her in juuuuust fine.

The bouncer nodded politely, and moved just enough to let her enter. "Boss is in the back."

"Thank you," Rachel said. Perhaps fortunately for Ariel, she didn't look back as she headed through the club, down the back hall and towards the back room to see the boss.

She knocked politely on the door when she got there.

The bouncer eyed Ariel, recognized her, and let her in as well.

The bite club was as one might expect -- two shades classier than a gentleman's club, with a musical selection more geared towards a street club, and with a number of vampiric staff working the floor, making sure the clientele were wined, dined, and nibbled to happiness.

Around the back hall, past a few closed (and happiness-concealing, from the sound of things) doors, was Master V's office - the door was wide open, and Master V was apparently in the process of going over a list with a vampire dressed in bright pink. They both looked up before Rachel entered.

"Well, I'm not cranky," Rachel said. "Though you'd think I should be, considering some of the things I'm going through..."

She shook her head. "But no, I try to keep in good spirits- there's no sense in being less than pleasant with things, as long as you can be."

Master V nodded. "Words to live by. Want I should walk you on out, so's nobody assumes you're looking for an employee?"

Rachel smiled, and got to her feet. "That would be very nice of you. Thanks."

He was really rather gentlemanly, for a vampire.

"Trixie, I'll be back in a minute," Master V said, and got up as well, to walk Rachel on out.
