Ariel, the quiet, slightly mischevious new girl at Sunnydale High, was on her way into the club, juuuust about to the bouncer, when she spotted Rachel.
Normally, her fake ID was enough to get her in, but... this could pose a problem.
"Dammit!" she said to herself. "That's Ms. Lee! How the hell do I pull this off now?"
So, hoping against all hope that Rachel wouldn't recognize her, since she was so new, she just went about her way, walking up to the bouncer, who normally let her in juuuuust fine.
"Thank you," Rachel said. Perhaps fortunately for Ariel, she didn't look back as she headed through the club, down the back hall and towards the back room to see the boss.
She knocked politely on the door when she got there.
The bouncer eyed Ariel, recognized her, and let her in as well.
The bite club was as one might expect -- two shades classier than a gentleman's club, with a musical selection more geared towards a street club, and with a number of vampiric staff working the floor, making sure the clientele were wined, dined, and nibbled to happiness.
Around the back hall, past a few closed (and happiness-concealing, from the sound of things) doors, was Master V's office - the door was wide open, and Master V was apparently in the process of going over a list with a vampire dressed in bright pink. They both looked up before Rachel entered.
"Hello," Rachel said as she walked in. "Master V, I presume? I'm Rachel Lee, OSI Servator division. I was wondering if I might have a bit of your time to discuss some problems we've been having that we could use your assistance with..."
She gave a politely nod of greeting to the woman as well.
"It's come to our attention that we have some underage students visiting your establishment," Rachel said. She settled into the seat, and took out a folder with photographs from her purse.
"I was wondering if you could take a look at these pictures and see if you recognize any of these people."
"Any particular reason you're worried?" Master V inquired, though he did politely have a look. "Or do you just need to know who the dumb ones are so you can yell at them?"
"Well, we would prefer to keep the underage folks out of the bite club- particularly since some of them are falling asleep in classes and otherwise experiencing some signs of having a hard time attending to their work because of it," Rachel said.
Master V shrugged. "Well, if it's the Academy kids you folks is worried about, they should have more sense anyhow, and if it ain't, you shouldn't be worried as long as they don't wind up dead or somethin'. Still, yeah, I've seen a couple of these kids in here. Not all of 'em, but a couple."
"Thankfully the Academy kids have more sense," Rachel said. She raised a brow at the shrug, wondering how he could be so casual about it. Vampires.
"Well, my problem is that some of these students are obviously getting a little too into this experience. I worry about just confronting them directly, because I don't want them to start getting into more dangerous thrill or looking for a bite on the street- that's a good way for them to wind up someone's dinner. But at the same time, I don't want them ruining their futures by becoming little bite junkies to the point that they can no longer focus on their work."
"Look, lady -- until you go about making vampires a publicly accepted species, you can't go regulating this sort of thing," Master V said. "Ain't no legal age requirements for being bit by a vampire - just ask the less civil folk that hang 'round the graveyards. All you gotta worry about is, are they getting killed here? Which they ain't. Their future is between them and their guidance counselor, and it sure as hell ain't my problem."
"Perhaps check IDs a little more carefully - especially for those who haven't come in before. If there's a chance to nip the problem in the bud - erm, pardon the pun - that would at least prevent some future problems," Rachel said.
She glanced down at the photographs. "As for these students - just make sure that they don't have more than they can handle. I suppose that's the best we can do, other than trying to provide some counseling at the school."

She sighed. This wasn't getting her any closer to a solution for the problem. "I was just hoping you could offer some assistance with the issue."
