A little bit of everything
The teacher inservice went really well. I was impressed with the way the entire class was able to convey their messages. I found it really motivating to stand in front of my professors and teach them about technology tools they have not heard of. It was just one more step in journey to professional excellence. I have a hard time talking in front of people that are not 8 years old, and I felt completly comfortable addressing that group of people. It will be great to add that onto my resume.
School is out for the Spring semester. While most of my friends are excited about their summer vacation, I am counting down the days until my Summer class starts. It is a literature class, and I'm not terribly excited by it, but will be excited to be one step closer to graduating. I am ready to be in a classroom of my own instead of talking about what I am going to do in a classroom of my own. I also believe I recieved all of the validations I was able to receive for the semester.
My scholastic book fair is next week Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. I am incorporating the March of Dimes into this week as well. It is a crazy week at work in order to prepare for everything that is going on that week. I am still trying to get everything together for the family night on Monday. We are having a book preview night and ice cream social. I am really excited to see how much money can be raised for new books for the school. I am really hoping to freshen up each of the classroom libraries. We are also discussing turning our main lobby that is not utilized into a library for the school. I would like to get a start on books for that. I am excited to also be able to add these two events to my resume.
