I had an awesome Halloween this year.

One thing I learned from it though:
Brian Craig is a very heavy man, and not easy to carry.

I'm officially enrolled at Second City Detroit.

Spent all weekend and Labor Day in Chicago. Had a great time, ate good food, saw the drummer from fall out boy, payed way too much for cigarettes, got some records, sprayed water on people from the 5th floor, slept on that very same floor covered in sweat all night, tried jumping onto the roof, turned into statues when the cops went by ( Read more... )

Went to BFE to the Oh, Sleeper show last night. It was amazing, of course. This band played though called a kiss for jersey", worst name ever. But they were really good. The crowd sucked though and I could tell that they knew that. So I wanted to support them so I bought a cd. Definitely not as good as I thought, haha. I really don't like it ( Read more... )

I had my first whack at sales yesterday. It was pretty scary at first and I kind of got caught up and gave away my only mock up of the magazine. I think I could get used to doing it though. Once you get in there and get past the "uhh yeah, I'm trying sell you something", then you're pretty much in. Brian has officially given up after his first try ( Read more... )

So last time I posted I talked about trying out for that band. I'm pretty sure I don't want to do it now. I mean, the music is fun to learn and play, and the two guys I met were awesome but I just don't think I want to be in a metal band, or drive to Lansing twice a week ( Read more... )

So I went to that tryout last night. It went pretty well. I was in the wrong tuning when we started so it was really bad, but then I fixed that and it went 100x smoother. I'm not sure if they want me in the band or not, the one guy said something about how he did, but there were only 2 members there with me, and after I learned the majority of one ( Read more... )
