When his food bowl gets empty he gets under the shelf it's set into, pushes it out of it's hole in the shelf, then gets back on the shelf, picks it up with is teeth, and puts it down in front of the door, so if you kneel down and open the door, you have to notice that the bowl is there and needs filling. He also stands there and looks at you like, "Did you notice this? It needs rectifying."
He also is an aspiring interior designer, judging by the way he likes to redecorate his cage. His litter box never stays in it's corner, his food bowl will occasionally end up somewhere else (full or otherwise), and his hay holder is constantly ending up in his litterbox. He so needs a bigger cage. I've been thinking about building him one. I've looked into a few options, and I don't think it would be too difficult to put together a decent cage.
He's been getting more exercise lately, as I've cleaned up my room so that I can let him basically roam free. He's well enough litter trained that I don't have to keep him under constant supervision, and my floor is linoleum anyway, so messes aren't hard to clean up, even if I don't notice them until a while later. He doesn't get any traction, unfortunatley, but he likes the playtime nonetheless. My air vent is on the floor, so he's taken to laying on it. He likes the cool air flow on his tummy. :)
I caught the last hour or so of "Muppets from Space" today. I'd forgotten how much I absolutely adore that movie. :D I need to see if it's on Netfix.
I've spent most of today trying to catch up on my internetting. I had so many messages and deviations to sort through on my deviantart account, and I had fanfic reviews and lj stuff to deal with too. I think things are finally cleaned out. Starting tomorrow, I'm going to try to get some sort of schedule in my life, lest I waste my summer.
I've been browsing Tumblr a lot the last couple of days. I'm thinking of getting one, but I've got enough internet corners to keep up with. One of the Matt Smith ones I was browsing the other day had links to some of the other things he's been in, so I decided to check them out out of curiousity since he really is a fantastic actor. There's one show called 'Party Animals' I'm watching now. It's pretty good. It's about these young twenty-somethings who are reserchers/interns/lobbyists for the British Parliament/government. I don't understand a lot of the government stuff, but it's got real life drama mixed in, of course, and Matt Smith's character, Danny, is absolutely adorable. He's sort of your typical genius with no clue how to behave in most social situations. I don't get what he sees in Kirsty, as she's kind of a you-know-what. (ANd of course there's the whole drama of her getting high and having a one-night-stand with his brother. Wonder if he'll ever find out.) I quite like the character of Ashika, as well. She's tough, but kind, and I know nothing about politics, but I'm rooting for her in the by-election anyway.
