Summer is sick

This sucks. We finally get over the flu, and my baby is all stuffed up with baby snot. She is waking up every night for like 2 hours crying and won't eat her bottles. It's so frustrating to know there's just about nothing you can do to make your baby feel better. Oh, then, to top it all off, after my hitting the sack at 3am last night (thanks to sickie), Mike wakes her up at 9 frickin am and brings her into the bedroom. I was like, WTF? I usually hear her wake up and she'll quietly play with her baby in her crib for like 1/2 hour to almost an hour. EVERY MORNING. So he happens to be home one morning when I am the MOST tired, and he brings her to me and sits her on my massively full bladder. I think I killed him with my glare. But Summer was too cute to be mad or anything. My mom taught her how to spit Friday. It's so charming...NOT. She spits loads of loogs while making a "brrrrr" sound with her lips. She now has decided it's cute to do while she has a mouthful of formula, or peas. Not fun. Major mess-ola. I'm hoping it's just a phase.

Good news! Mike and I found a house to rent! Woot! It's HUGE...HUGE. Three bedroom, two FULL baths, kitchen, living room, family room, gorgeous yard with patio. The kitchen has all new GORGEOUS appliances, and the cabinets have been newly whitewashed (OMG, The Martha in me nearly had a heart attack). The entryway, and all of the hallways have been tiled with this gorgeous faux stone tile, hence eliminating foot traffic on the berber carpeting. There's a two car garage with washer and dryer, and the third car portion has been converted to an office. In fact, it's the very office we bought our (my parents) house in almost 20 years ago. I am going to use that office for my business and turn the world upside down. Not to mention, it'll be a nice tax deduction. We may have to rent out one of the rooms because the rent is kind of steep, but it's so worth it. If we end up not renting it out, we'll use it as a spare room. The cost of renting in Oceanside is ridiculous, but so worth it. We have to break the lease here to move, but this house is really such an awesome opportunity that we've been waiting for. Not to mention, the owner dropped the rent a hundred bucks when I told her who we were. Yay! I'll keep y'all posted. Hopefully we'll be all moved in before Summer's first birthday!

I need to hit the egyptian cotton sheets, dood. Summer should be waking up shortly, if memory serves. Peace out, homies
