We're moving!
Yay! We got approved to move into the house today. We are super stoked. I told Mike the first project I want to do is to refinish our coffee table out in the garage and he tells me "You can't go in the garage". Apparently, it's supposed to be this male sanctuary with a mini-fridge and pictures of the Coors twins and the Makita girl. Blah. I am going to do it anyways! I am so happy to be finally living in a house. We get the keys on May 21st and I am seriously considering making one of those construction paper chains where you tear off the loops as the days pass. I loathe moving, but it's worth it to have a place to call "home". I swear, everyday walking up and down these stairs with Summer in my arms scares me to death. It's so dangerous. I walk like a granny up and down them, seriously. My neighbors probably think I'm weird. But fuck them! They aren't my neighbors anymore, dammit! I am also way stoked because Jessie told me the other day that she's planning on going back to school and working at her job after the baby is born (in September), so she and Todd will want me to babysit! This includes money, dood! I would hate to charge my own brother, but I'll have to have TWO carseats in MY car, not to mention it would be compromising my free time with Summer. It's not like I'm going to gouge him, but it's nice to know I'll be making more money along with my business, to help out with the rent payment. I could go on and on, but I have to get to bed soon and have so much shit to do. Mike got a ticket and I have to find a quickie online traffic school before the 28th. YEAH, like 7 days, dood.
