Wow.. Feels like years since I've updated.. Sorry about that.
This post will probably end up quite long so that I can catch up on the past couple of weeks. After I finish writing this I'll check out what other people have been up to, and possibly leave a few comments. Again, sorry for my lack of input of the past few weeks. =/
Jen's 17th birthday party was awesome!! I had heaps of fun. I didn't drink any tea, but I did eat lots of yummy food!! I also made and took some food (Chicken Sushi and Mini Savory Muffins) which everyone enjoyed. =D
I got Jen a journal which is black with white skulls for her birthday. She seemed really happy to receive that.
Grandma and Grandpa came home from overseas and I've seen them a few times since. They're settled back and are happy going for bike rides and seeing their friends and doing other things that they normally do.
I went to Sydney with Tara, Gen and Courtney not long ago. We went to see a stage show called The Rocky Horror Show (It's a remake of the film, The Rocky Horror Picture Show) to celebrate Tara's 18th birthday.
I went to school with Gen and don't see her much, so it was good to spend time with her. Courtney works with Tara. I'd met her once previously. She's heaps nice.
Before the show we bought some fairy bombs, they are an energy drink which contains absinthe. They tasted a bit strange, but were alright. We only had one each, so we could all still enjoy the show without feeling drunk or anything.
During the show we each had some alcoholic cocktails, and after wards, during dinner, Tara and Courtney had another one each.
After dinner we went back to our hotel room and drank a full bottle of vodka and a bottle of madury (sp?) with various soft drinks.
Some how I managed to have one on one in depth conversations with everyone at different times during the night. - I spoke to Gen about school and friends while the other two bought the alcohol before the show. I spoke to Courtney on my bed about her boyfriend, while to other two were talking to themselves. And I spoke to Tara for hours outside the hotel room once the other two had gone to seep about friends and life and various other things.. - Tara and I ended up staying awake until about 3.30AM.
We all got woken up by Courtney's mobile phone alarm clock at 5.30. We all went back to sleep. I woke up at 6.00. I went back to sleep. We all woke up around 7.30 - 8.00. Tara's mobile phone alarm went off at 8.30. - That's when we all got up to have breakfast.
That night Tara and I saw The Getaway Plan (a Melbourne band) play at Albert Hall (Back home in in Canberra) with Alex and Mandy.
Alex, Mandy and I already had pre-paid tickets. Tara didn't, but she paid at the door and got in at the same time as us.
I can't remember the other three bands that played before them, but I remember that they were mostly good. One of them didn't really play moshing music, but it was still pretty good music all the same.
There were some real dickheads in the mosh pit. My friends and I kind of got in a fight with some of the people standing right next to us. I didn't care that they were swearing at me in between the bands, but during the bands they were intentionally hurting my friends and I. They really hurt my wrists, shoulders and back. But I got a couple of them back. Mahahahaha!! ... Umm.. Yeah.. DON'T MESS WITH ME!!
After those couple of days with close to no sleep, and because I'm generally fatigued I felt too tired to got to Tara's party. I stopped by her house before the party had really started give her her Nintendo DS which I had borrowed, and she loaned me her Nintendo GameBoy Advanced in return, then I went home to sleep some more.
Last Thursday I saw a new specialist, Dr Riddell. My GP said that I should see him so that I'd have a third pair of eyes see me and look at my files and finally diagnose me with whatever it is that is making me so tired and sick all the time. Turns out I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) and Depression, on top of Type 1 Diabetes. (I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes about 4 years ago). My GP had suggested that I might have CFS, so there wasn't any shock when Dr Riddell told me and my mum.
School should be happy to know the diagnosis and finally have a valid reason why I haven't been going.
I found out during the holidays that my favorite class at school had been canceled due to lack of interest. As soon as mum told me I told her that that was it, that I had enough of school and all it's bullshit and people there (besides Emily and Neil and maybe one or two others) and stress that it causes me and the fucking red-haired idiot that keeps looking looking down on me and thinks that I'm an alcoholic (Helen Uren-Randel)!! My horticulture class was the only reason that I went to school. Now that that's been canceled there is no reason to go back. - Mum was practically fine about it all. It's not that she doesn't care if I finish school or not, but more that she knows that I'm very sick and under a lot of stress, and knows that going back to school would only make it worse.
Problem is, is that I still want to finish school this year, it's my last year, and all my friends will be finishing this year, and I want to be able to finish with them, and to not have to ever got back.
I'm thinking about taking up a couple of subjects at night school and doing some community service. I only need a couple more points to get my year 12 certificate, and that should be enough. Only problem now is Helen UR - she (and some other people on some board) decide how many points each thing is worth and which activities can go towards my cert. Oh.. That and my health..
My mums friend/my friends mum, Tatjana has been in hospital for a few days. She has cancer, and is normally fine living at home, but she had some scans done, and they found some blood clots and she stay at hospital. I've been dog sitting her dog while she's away. She has a boder collie called Poppy. I like having Poppy at home. She is good company, and it's been good for both her and me to go for walks to the oval.
On Saturday my mum and I went to Karen and John's place for lunch. Karen made a pasta bake which was really yummy. My laptop is broken again. John looked at my computer and told me that all it needs is a new battery. He kindly gave me some art/design programes to put on it when it gets fixed. He also gave me a scanner. And showed me the inside of a hard drive!!
Karen, mum and I went into town to see if we could buy a new battery, but had no luck.
When I got home I made pancakes to take to Grandma and Grandpa's to have for desert. A couple hours later Mum and I went to Grandma and Grandpas to have dinner with them and Uncle Myles and his fiancee Alise.
On Sunday mum and I had lunch with Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Myles and Alise. After lunch I went to Shiftys (a shop in Civic) to buy a skateboard. I've always wanted to learn how to skate, and seeing as I won't be going to school anymore I'll have heaps of time to skate around home, or to go to a skate park.
There was a really nice guy (kinda cute) guy about my age working. He told me about the different parts of a skateboard, and the prices. He was really nice, and really helpful. He told me that they were sold out of the cheaper trucks (that's one of the parts the connects the wheels to the board), but that they would have them in a couple of days. After looking at the different boards and wheels a bit I went outside to tell mum about everything. She then came in with me to look at some things, and then bought me a pair of shoes from the shop.
I've been wearing the shoes ever since. Yesterday I noticed that they are giving me foot and leg pains which is really annoying because they cost something like $140, and it's not like I can just take them back. They already have grass and mud stains on them.. Oops.. Mum isn't too happy. She doesn't wan to buy me another new pair shoes. And I only have enough for a skateboard. By the way, the reason why I'm so inclined to get new shoes is because my podiatrist suggested that it would be a good idea.
Seeing as it is now Tuesday, I should probably give Shiftys a call, to see if they have the trucks in yet. I'm not going to mention the shoes, even though mum might think that I should.. Nah.. I can worry about that latter. I still like my old shoes. <33
During the week mum bought me a new camera!! It's very similar to my last one, a Canon G7, but it's slightly improved. The new one that I have now is a Canon G9!!
I've taken heaps of pictures, but because I haven't been able to put them onto my laptop and photohop them, I haven't uploaded them anywhere. Once I get my computer working and Photoshop, then you'll start seeing my pictures everywhere!! Mahahahaha!!! - (Again with the evil laugh..?!)
