There was traveling, considerable amount of it. There were movies, fabulous ones, some. There was a lot of celebrating, which means fabulous food and awesome gifts, basically. I attended the 27th India International Trade Fair at New Delhi's chaotic Pragati Maidan today. Undeterred by the crowds, I went ahead and had my share of fun shopping for stuff from stalls of pretty much every nation I could lay my eyes on -- Egypt, Pakistan, Thailand, Vietnam, Nigeria, Tanzania...:D The experience was akin to checking out airport ( Read more... )

Sometimes, I feel I am way too upbeat for my own good. When people on the other line don't respond with as much enthusiasm in their tone as me, it sort of makes me feel silly about being so gung-ho about god-alone-knows-what in the first place.
