New Delhi Times

Well, I am in Delhi right now. And that shall be the case for the next 17 days.

It began something like this. While mom got upgraded to Business class (perks of being a senior citizen and all), I had to make do with the middle seat in the last row, sandwiched between two blubbery specimens. One was busy checking the absence of new mail on his iPhone, the other, before the flight finally took off, pooh paahed in a wannabe accent something about catching a plane from Paris via Zurich and how India is full of F-worded *ace-holes* and how he got sloshed with his friends in a hotel room in Mumbai. While these guys played havoc with their iPhones and Dopods, I half-heartedly read about Baden-Württemberg’s Black Forest and its history of cuckoo clocks in an in-flight magazine.

Anyhow, feels good to leave Mumbai’s sweltering heat behind and enjoy the cool, cool weather of Capital city. If only the traffic would stop playing spoil sport. Grrr…

I’ve already gorged like crazy on the mandatory golgappas, paapdi chaat and paranthas :=P Also, watched Ratatouille yesterday. Fantastic film with awe-inspiring animation that celebrates everything I love and believe in, namely food and friendship. And most importantly, don’t judge a rat!:D

Up next..more food, fun and frolic, what else? :=)

etc, movies, travel, stuff, me
