Especially for the wonderful zsu-chan ♥ (

It seems that the one who said that Haruma-kun would be good for the role of Mito Tatsuya [T/N: for the movie "Crows Zero II"] is Oguri-kun.
Oguri: I thought that among the younger generation, the one who can shoulder the next era is Haruma. That's why I pushed for him.
Miura: I was extremely happy to be recommended for the role of Mito! Before that, Oguri-san lent me "Crows," and I myself was thinking I'd like to do it. But when the Mito role got decided, I was worried if I could play that part properly. Because I wanted to give it the right feeling, and, since Oguri-san pushed for me, I was constantly thinking of what he thought of it.
Oguri: Moreover, in the original story, Mito is my absolute favorite role ne~.
Miura: That's why I was told, "It's a super cool role, so you act it in a cool way yo!" (laugh) "Aaah... what shall I do," it was the first time I felt the pressure.
Oguri: Before going to film for "Crows Zero II," we were eating nabe [
1] at my place. Right then, Takaoke Sosuke-kun called asking what we were doing, and joined us.
Miura: We ate kimchi nabe ne. [
2]
Who invites the other out more often for such things?
Oguri: Basically, Haruma never contacts me. It's always me calling him.
Miura: The~n, I'll call you from now on.
Oguri: You say so, but you know you won't (laugh).
Miura: 'cause, it's easier to go if you're invited (laugh).
What sort of conversation do you have when you're together?
Miura: Silence (laugh).
Oguri: We're good even if we don't talk, ne.
Miura: Oguri-san, if I were to move into the apartment next to yours, what would you do?
Oguri: If you move before turning 20 I'd preach you that it's still too early (laugh). I think that even I, who am 8 years older than you, am living in luxury.
Was your first encounter in the drama "
Binbo Danshi" in which you co-acted?
Oguri: Right. Before that, Haruma watched the play "Caligula" [
3] I acted in, and came by to say hi. He came wearing his uniform, ne. [
4]
Miura: He told me, "Yoroshiku [
5] for our next drama." I couldn't say anything but, "Yes! Thank you."
Oguri: By the way, before that someone told me that, "Miura Haruma-kun would like to meet you." (laugh).
Miura: In interviews and such I said, "Oguri-san is really good ne. I'd like to co-act with him one day." Then, I was asked by different magazines, "You'd really like to meet him, wouldn't you?" And I would reply, "Yeah, well, if there's a chance to..." After that, "Miura Haruma admires Oguri Shun," was written all over the place (laugh).
Oguri: Well you did admire me, didn't you? (laugh)
Miura: Yes. I wouldn't be able to say I didn't (laugh). I thought you were cool [kakkoii]. But to be told such a thing everywhere I went....
Oguri: O~h, so not that much.
Miura: It's not that I didn't admire you that much. Just that it being written all over the place was really embarrassing....
Oguri: I really love [daisuki] Haruma yo! Everything in him is cute [kawaii] (laugh). I also like the mole he has near his mouth. He's got some really poise moments, but in reality he's incredibly amiable. He's unexpectedly normal, like most people, so it's really easy to hang out with him.
Miura: You can't hate people who say they like you like that.... Did I just say something rude?
Oguri: Don't worry about it! (laugh)
Miura: Moreover, Oguri-san is really nice to me.... This sort of talk makes my tummy ache. When I'm asked what I like about him, all I can say is that for some reason I do.
Oguri: "For some reason" is just fine yo. That's how juniors are.

[4] In Japan, uniforms are considered formal attire, therefore showing the respect Miura-kun had for Oguri-kun.
[5] Yoroshiku is a greeting, meaning; please take care of me, let's work good together, looking forward to working with you, etc.
