Junsu was sitting on the floor, his legs spread out in front of him as he looked up at the new boy. His stomach was already showing, not obvious, but showing.
“I'm Park Yoochun, 17 years old and I'm 4 months pregnant,” he said. Junsu remembered how insanely nervous he was when he had to stand there and introduce himself. Yoochun didn't seem nervous at all.
“Are you together with the father of your child, Yoochun?” Yunho, the leader of their group asked. “If you don't mind me asking, of course.”
The same question was directed to Junsu about two months ago.
“No,” Yoochun said with a faint smile. “I'm not together with the father. I don't know who the father is.”
To cool, Junsu thought. He was being to cool.
“Anyway, it's nice to meet you all,” he continued. “I was nervous coming in, but when I realized you were all my age, which is kind of the whole point of this support group...”
He was gorgeous, Junsu decided while watching him talk. And he didn't look like a zombie, like most of the newbies did when they just came in.
The second session, Yoochun sat down next to Junsu and put his hands on Junsu's stomach. “Yours is way bigger than mine,” he grinned.
“7 months,” Junsu said surprised. “You'll get bigger, trust me.”
“I can't wait,” Yoochun said, rolling his eyes. “I remember when I was worrying about being to skinny.”
“O, you won't be worrying about that for a while,”Junsu chuckled. “So what are you going to do with it?”
Yoochun shrugged. “I haven't decided yet. Kind of got attached to the little monster that ruined my life.”
He got a smack in the head from the person sitting on his other side. “Don't say that!”
“Jaejoong, we don't tolerate violence in here,” Yunho warned, sitting at the other side of the circle.
“But he's disrespecting his baby!”
“Jaejoong, listen to your baby's daddy,” Yoochun teased, rubbing the back of his head.
“Your...what now?” Junsu blinked.
“He's babbling,” Jaejoong quickly said. “He's jealous me and Yunho are friends.”
“Oh, please, I saw you making out last week,” Yoochun laughed.
“Doesn't mean he's my baby's daddy,”Jaejoong countered.
“Jaejoong, I never knew about you and Yunho!” Junsu said, offended. “And we've been here for over 4 months now!”
“Ssssh!” Jaejoong hushed at them. “He doesn't want anyone to know! He could lose his job.”
“I thought he volunteered for this job,” Yoochun said. “As in, non-paying?”
“He does,” Jaejoong sighed, dreamily. “He's so great.”
“Okay, back to you,” Yoochun chuckled and turned back to Junsu. “What were we saying?”
“You were saying you got attached to your bump,” Junsu reminded him. “So you're keeping it?”
“Probably,” Yoochun shrugged. “I've still got 5 months to decide.”
“I knew what I was going to do when I was 4 months pregnant,” Junsu said. “I knew the day I found out I was pregnant.”
Yoochun nodded in understanding. “You're giving it away.”
“Yeah. I'm sixteen, you know? My dream was to become a soccer player-”
“And here you are, almost a soccer mom,” Changmin who sat on the other side of Junsu snorted.
“Shut up, Changmin. Shouldn't you be in labour my now?” Junsu snapped at him.
“Aren't you scared my offspring will take over the world?”
“I still can't believe you're having twins,” Junsu sighed. “Like we need two more Changmins in the world.”
“Twins?” Yoochun asked. “That's so cool!” He reached over and touched Changmin's enormous belly. “Boys or girls?”
“Two boys,” Changmin grinned. “My dad was so proud.”
“I can imagine why,”Yoochun chuckled. “Your keeping them?”
“Sure am,” Changmin nodded. “No one is taking my little dudes away from-ah.”
“What?”
Changmin stared at his stomach and shook his head. “It-Aaaaah!” he screeched.
Yunho came rushing over, helping Changmin up from the floor. “Labour time!”
“He sounds happy,” Yoochun murmured.
“He is,” Jaejoong said. “He loves it when one of us gives birth during his lesson. Often means he gets to see the baby first.”
Changmin came back once after that to show of his two gorgeous baby boys, Minho and Taemin, and his gorgeous boyfriend and father of his children, Kangta.
“They are to perfect,” Jaejoong beamed. “They could be baby models.”
“Enough drooling over my babies, Jaejoong. I need to get home and start studying,”Changmin said and backed up his baby buggy.
“Come on, Changmin,” Kangta said.” You can come back another time.”
Changmin didn't come back after that. He went on with his life, which had gotten a million times busier.
Jaejoong went into labour not long after, though he did keep coming back, since Yunho was his boyfriend.
While pregnant teens came and left, Yoochun and Junsu got attached to each other.
“Come over to my house after this,” Yoochun said one day. “My mom is out and I don't feel like being alone.”
“Sure,” Junsu smiled. “Take me to your lair!”
They went to Yoochun's house and Junsu flopped down on Yoochun's bed the second they entered his room.
“Is this the bed your baby was conceived in?”
“I doubt it,” Yoochun said and laid next to him. “I've never had sex in my own bed.”
“In lots of other beds though?”
“Pretty much.”
“So...” Junsu said and turned his head to look at him.
“So,” Yoochun smiled and did the same. A lock of hair fell down and cover one of his eyes. Junsu stuck out his hand and tugged it back behind Yoochun's ear. “Are you feeling what I'm feeling?”
“Pain in my ankles? A sore back? Gal?”
Junsu rolled his eyes and turned his whole body, huge belly in between them. “I'm serious. Are you feeling what I'm feeling?”
Yoochun tilted his head. “Butterflies, warmth and gal?”
Junsu grinned. “Yeah, that.”
“Yeah, I'm feeling what you're feeling,” Yoochun nodded and turned on his side too. Their stomachs bumped. That wasn't what Yoochun had planned. “I want to kiss you, but I can't reach you mouth.”
“Sit up,” Junsu demanded.
Yoochun sat up and leaned in-
“Not working,” he sighed. “Is it impossible for two pregnant guys to kiss?”
“Maybe if we stand up?” Junsu suggested.
They stood up. Bump.
“Maybe if one sits down and the other stands?” Yoochun tried.
Junsu sat down and Yoochun leaned in. That worked. Their lips touched, their hearts fluttered and their cheeks turned pink. It wasn't impossible for two men to kiss.
Junsu went into labour and gave his baby up for adoption. He didn't go back to the support group. Yoochun didn't know where Junsu lived and Yunho wasn't entitled in telling him.
“Dadster?”
“Yo.”
“Can we go to the playground before we go home? It's only 3:15 and Sun is going to be there and I want to play with her!” the 8 year old Miyoung said excitedly.
“Who's this 'Sun' your talking about?” Yoochun asked, looking down at the little munchkin who was swinging their hands back and forth.
“She's my friend from school. She was at our house once, remember? So, can we?”
“Sure, why not,” Yoochun shrugged. “Maybe if you play some more you'll grow some more too.”
“My teacher says I'll grow when I get older!”
“O, my little dwarf,” Yoochun sighed. “Teacher say those things so their students will shut up.”
“Liar,” Miyoung simply said. “Uncle Yunho tells me I shouldn't believe anything you say.”
“Uncle Yunho tells you that so you'll shut up~”
“Aahh! Dad, you're so annoying! We're here, so you can go and get your coffee across the street,” she yelled at him as she ran for the swings.
“Don't get kidnapped!” Yoochun yelled after her, before crossing the street. He entered the café and waved at Yuri who usually stood behind the counter and was now wiping off tables.
“Where is the dwarf?” she asked.
“Across the street,” he answered motioning to the playground with his hand. There was no one in the café except for one man, sitting at the very back next to a window, wearing sunglasses. Yoochun squinted his eyes at him and saw the man flinch away. He turned to stare out of the window.
“Can I get the usual?”he asked and Yuri nodded.
Yoochun walked over to the man and sat down in the seat across from him. “Haven't seen you in a while. Didn't recognize you without the huge belly.”
“Same here,” Junsu answered.
“I saw you kicking that ball on tv,”Yoochun said tilting his head to one side. “Famous Junsu is famous.”
“Hence the sunglasses,”Junsu smiled. “How's your kid?”
“Great. She learned how to tell time last week. Been telling me what time it is every five minutes since.”
Junsu chuckled. “That's cute.”
“You could have broken up with me properly, you know?”
Junsu turned to stare out of the window. “I know.”
“So why did you disappear off of the face of the earth?”
“Because...when I was pregnant...you didn't judge. When I gave it away, you would. It was easier to just stay away.”
“You think I was judging you because you gave your child away? You were sixteen! Half of that group gave their kid away in the end!”
“Uhm...here is your coffee. Stop yelling in my store, please,” Yuri said before walking away again.
“It doesn't matter anymore,”Junsu shrugged. “So...your kid is out there?”
Yoochun looked out of the window and saw Miyoung and one of her little friends play with a jump rope.
“Come on,” Yoochun sighed and stood up.
“What?”
“You're going to meet her.”
“But-”
“You know you want to,”Yoochun grinned and stood up, waving at Yuri before leaving the café. Junsu followed him.
“Come here, pipsqueak, I want you to meet someone,” Yoochun said pulled Miyoung off of the monkeybars gently. “See that man over there? Daddy wants him to go home with us later on, so you have to be extra cute, okay?”
Miyoung smiled and flashed him her angle pose. “Like this?”
“Like that,” Yoochun grinned. “Now lets go.”
Junsu was sitting on a bench, seemingly uncomfortable and Yoochun had to admit it looked weird, a man dressed in all black wearing sunglasses, hanging around a playground.
“Mimi, I want you to meet Junsu. He's a friend from when I was younger.”
Miyoung looked at Junsu and smiled. She grabbed the tips of her skirt and made a little plié. Yoochun almost snorted.
“It's nice to meet you,” Junsu said, smiling back.
“How old are you?”Miyoung asked.
“24,” Junsu answered immediately.
“Then your daddy's age! You should play with daddy, he never has anyone to play with, it's sad.”
“It's true,” Yoochun sighed. “It's sad.”
“I-”
“I'm done, playing here,” Miyoung said. “Can we go home, daddy? And can uncle Junsu come with us?”
“O, I don't know...you need to ask him...”
Miyoung turned to Junsu and tilted her head. “Please?”
“Is she sleeping?”
“Like a baby.”
“God, she has a lot of energy,” Junsu chuckled. “She's so precious.”
“I know,” Yoochun sighed, flopping down on the couch. “You should see her on weekends. Practically bouncing off the walls.”
“She looks like you.”
“That's why she's so pretty.”
“I didn't want to stop run out on you,” Junsu suddenly admitted. “It was just...I knew you were going to keep her and I wasn't prepared to be a father. That's why I gave-”
“It's okay,” Yoochun said shaking his head. “It was 8 years ago. We were little idiots getting pregnant and doing other stupid stuff. It's 8 years later and you're a famous soccer player. That's what you always wanted right?”
“Yeah,”Junsu smiled. “And I'm happy.”
“That's all that matters.”
“Yoochun...”
“Hmm?”
“You look tired. Maybe I should go...”
“Wait...Just tell me if you're feeling what I'm feeling.”
Junsu looked at him and couldn't bit away his smile. “Yeah.”
It was easier kissing without huge stomachs in the way.
