La la la Monday!
So the weekend before last I started what I thought would be a two day project- taking the old crappy wallpaper off the back room of doom. I wanted to surprise my realtor when I turned over the key by telling her the room was fixed. Well, Sunday night rolled around and found me exhausted and in pain with the work only half done and the room looking worse than when I started. (The only thing uglier than old, peeling, cracked wallpaper on your walls is old, peeling cracked wallpaper half scrapped off your walls and half all over the floor).
The story has a happy ending though- I used it as an excuse to take Thursday and Friday off work and got it done. Woo Hoo! I somehow managed to fit lessons in on Saturday and a quick trip to Kent with Mom to unwind on Sunday. It still needs a coat of primer and paint (which I'll start tonight) but it looks tons better already and will be done soon! *happy dance* After that it's just some optional painting jobs and upkeep. *happy dance take 2*
I haven't gotten official confirmation that it's on the market yet, but if it's not it should be soon. Then... the waiting. I have tons of plans for keeping occupied (namely the dozens of hobbies and chores I've been neglecting while the house sucked up all my free time) so I'm actually looking forward to it.
