Journalin' like a mothafucka. Writin' down feelings n' shit.
Good news from today. I got the first of my two W2 forms in the mail. Looks like I'm gonna be getting about $1000 bucks back from this one. I'm getting two W2 forms this year because I started out as a temp at my current job, so I got paid through the staffing agency. This first W2 covers me from September(when I got officially hired at HEI) through December, and the second one covers from May(when I started as a temp at HEI) through august. Based on this first W2, I'm assuming the second one will be for roughly the same amount because my hours haven't changed since going from temp to full-blown employee. Meaning I'll be getting about 2 grand back this tax season. YAY! This will be the biggest tax return I've ever gotten.
In other news: I was supposed to work overtime all weekend, but now it looks likes I might not have to. I for sure have Saturday and Sunday off now, and I'll find out tomorrow if I get Friday off too. It would be nice to have a 3 day weekend, but I called in sick on Tuesday, so having Friday off will mean I won't get my full 40 hours for this week. Oh well.
It's odd, I feel like I had more on my mind when I started writing this entry, yet now I'm drawing a blank. I'm sure it will come to me right as I'm about to fall asleep, and too tired to write about it. Then I'll spend all day tomorrow dwelling on how I didn't get to vent my feelings into my trusty old livejournal. Then I'll come home and log on and start up another entry only to have those feelings slip away from my mind yet again.
At least I'll have a decent chunk of cash coming my way soon.
