It is suggested that rel="nofollow" attribute is no added to hyperlinks in posts in paid communities, whether or not the poster is a paid account.

It can be assumed that the owners and supervisors of paid communities are motivated enough to keep their communities clean of SEO spam, since they have paid for them.
An ordered list of benefits
  • An additional reason to upgrade community accounts to paid.
An ordered list of problems/issues involved
  • Perhaps, abandoned paid communities, if such exist, will attract spammers until time paid for expires.
