Getting Crafty
When my eldest girl was just 6, all she wanted for her birthday was a Snow White costume. I sewed my little heart out and made a stunning creation of blue velvet, red satin and gold organza. I was thrilled with the result, and the look on her face was worth the late nights and sore fingers.
Fast forward ten years and nothing has changed. All my girl wants for her 16th birthday is a Little Mermaid costume. Guess who's pulled out her sewing machine and is creating another masterpiece of tulle and glittery synthetic fabrics ;)
She wants to wear this when she celebrates her birthday at DisneyWorld later in the year.
