When my eldest girl was just 6, all she wanted for her birthday was a Snow White costume. I sewed my little heart out and made a stunning creation of blue velvet, red satin and gold organza. I was thrilled with the result, and the look on her face was worth the late nights and sore fingers.

It's getting there! The hardest part is getting a 16 yr old to trust her mother's abilities and judgement. ;)

I'm not very good, so don't look too closely, but anything is possible with a little perseverance. Hopefully it will look fabulous when it's all finished.

I won that title when I secured tickets to 1D's sold-out-in-10-minutes tour. Looks like you'll see a report on that next month, I'm left with a spare ticket ;)
