I picked up more business cards. Notable ones:
Peter Luger,
Ippudo,
Lamarca, and
Yaffa Cafe.
Ziggiz is sooo good. My Philly cheesesteak was fantastic: the bread was nice and toasty, fried onions are crisp, and the cheese was perfect - melty but not overly gooey, and the steak part = YUM. The burgers are pretty awesome too. Greasy fries? LOVE.
One cheesteak is HUGE.
yeah, I recycle paper as table mats.
The one and only downside is Ziggiz doesn't have a business card :( But that's ok because I cobbled one together out of a take-out/delivery menu they have :D
Claire and I are both going home this coming week (I'm leaving tomorrow YESS!!!), so we've been trying to empty the fridge. To achieve that end, Claire made tomates à la Provençale last night.
Large tomatoes, olive oil, parsley, bread crumbs. The puffy things next to the tomatoes are chicken.
I forgot that I had garlic (I freaking love garlic), so that was left out, but it was still delicious.
I got a 10 page paper on Arthur Miller and HUAC due tomorrow, so it's back to the old caffeinated bitch and groan standby until I finish it. FUCK! It's been miserable. I kept deluding myself that I didn't have to write the paper, and now it's due tomorrow before my flight and just DAMMIT! It's going about 100 words/hr.
