I went home this past weekend (Thursday - Sunday) for the first time since early-mid June. Left Thursday after work because let me off work Friday. After dinner w/ the family at Buckheads, I met Tim at his place. He put new (quiet) exhaust on the Protege, then we swam for a while. After, we went to Cory's to hang out w/ him and Kyle for a bit. Friday I slept in. It was great. The grandparents all came over for some great home-cookin'. We had pork, ribs, and chicken.
That night we all hung out over at Cory's again. Saturday was the dentist's office bright and early. Afterwards, we got some breakfast then walked around Home Depot for a bit. I was not impressed at all. It must have been one of their smaller stores because there was not a lot there compared to my store.
Later that day, myself, brother Tim, Tony, Kyle, Jennifer, and Ryan went to Kart Kountry. That place is so fun. We did three laps around the track, which is always a blast. Also did some putt-putt, arcade games, and hit some balls at the batting cage. After we were done sweating our asses off in the 97º sun, we went over to Kyle's the relax in the pool. Later on, Tim came over and swam a bit. Once we were all nice and pruney, everyone except Jennifer and Ryan went to Rockys on the river for some late dinner.
Sunday morning I had to go to church. Then I just came home, had some lunch, and watched some baseball. Left for Muncie around 4 or so. Cory came over tonight for some chicken dinner. Then we went to the putt-putt here. We'd never been, and it was pretty good. The Home Run Derby was on at 8, so we made it back for that.
Tomorrow night, I leave for LaPorte to go visit Katie. Wednesday, we are going to Chicago for the day with her family. Just going to walk around for the most part. It should be a good time. I haven't been to the Windy City in a few years, sadly. Thursday, Katie and I are going to spend the day at the beach at Michigan City. I went when it was a little colder out... it is a very nice place. I'm sure we'll spend a lot of time at the beach and out at the pier and lighthouse. I am very much looking forward to it.
