Had a great time this week at Katie's. Wednesday we all took the train to Chicago. Didn't do too much... just walked around most of the day. Met up with Chapman for dinner at Giradano's (sp?). Took some pretty cool pictures, enjoyed the sights, and sweated my ass off in the 90º+ sun. I haven't been there in a few years. Also the first time I've been without seeing the Cubs play.
Thursday, Katie and I slept in. We spent most of the day at the beach at Michigan City. Swam for a bit, walked along the pier, sat on the rocks while waves crashed at our feet. It was a fun, relaxing day. That night we even saw the midnight premier of The Dark Knight, the new Batman movie. It was most excellent. Much more of a psychological movie than any previous Batman movie, and much less about superheroes. It was very well done. It is highly recommended, even to those that don't like superhero movies. I will most likely purchase the dvd when it comes out. A shocker, I know...
