Post Decemberists is like post sex. Also, Barrowlands is a fucking brilliant venue. It's a converted roller rink so the floor shakes like anything and bangs up and down. It was a bit wasted on this gig so I'll defiantly have to get back there for something more jumpy. The most use it got today was a bit good ol' foot stomping for the encore

1. I got an exercise bike so that I can jiggle around at home until I get confident enough to do it in public,
2. I got a new mp3 player because I haven't had one in forever - been using my DS which doesn't really work and is too bulky. Having said that, Phillips device is like a 9v battery only a bit lighter. It was £30 from Argos, has 8GB storage ( Read more... )

OMG NEW WHEEL OF TIME YAYAYAYAYAYAYYAYAYAYAYAY Downloading the audio version now, I don't feel guilty about this since I did buy the hardback. Not that I would feel guilty anyway. Audio books are WAY to expensive. Also, we never did get that Asmodian t-shirt so I kind of hope we don't find out this book.
