Okay, I get why winter is necessary in the grand scheme of the world and all, but does it have to be so COLD? And if it DOES, why is there no convention that says I can wear fleece pajamas and a Snuggie to work? ALTERNATELY, why can I not just work from my bed, with my new wool duvet and all of the animals piled on for warmth? I don't think this is asking too much.

FRIDAY. Is of the good. Also of the good is friendly friend time tomorrow with offonmars and pink_charlotte for belated Christmas shenanigans. Yay! However, this does mean that I need to a) locate the presents that I hastily stashed in my "PARENTS ARE COMING, CLEAN ALL THE THINGS" whirlwind, and b) finish making some of them. Ahahaha.

I signed up for spn_j2_bigbang again, because I don't learn lessons. But one of my things for this year is to write more - fiction and not - and even if I don't actually finish, I do intend to start, at least, which would be more than previous years. And maybe I will finish! I'm leaning towards writing a Supernatural fairy tale with bits cribbed from Sleeping Beauty and Tatterhood (pairings, if any, would be Dean/Castiel and Sam/Jessica), but I also like the idea of a J2 version of Adventures in Babysitting. Who knows?!

One of my other things for this year should definitely be spending less money, but I'm finding it hard. I bought five skirts and a sweater at Reitmans last week, but they were all on sale! The total was (just) under $100! I have worn four of those skirts (and the sweater) already! I needed something to go with all of the tights I just bought! /justification
I also really want to buy an Unbelievabra. One of my biggest fit issues with clothing is how all tops like to cling to my back fat bra squish area, and this would eliminate that (theoretically). And the cami one would eliminate another problem, that of the inexplicably low-cut top (theoretically)! But so expensive! But if they are awesome, then worth it. My mother bemoans my insistent purchasing of $20 bras. Lilli from Frocks and Frou Frou gives them a glowing recommendation. I don't knoooow. I am amused, however, that for their measuring purposes, I would be a DDD-cup. My (D-cup in normal bras) rack is kind of intimidated. :D

In other news, through a ridiculous series of events involving my mother, I am now in possession of an iPhone that cannot be used as a phone anywhere other than the States, where I do not live. I'm supposed to take it to my cousin's husband, who can maybe figure out how to jailbreak it, and in the meantime, I have become obsessed with Angry Birds. Also Hipstamatic, but I don't think I'm using that properly. What other apps should I be acquiring? I have a flashlight one!
