So apparently people can send me text messages via Livejournal, I can customise ad settings, and LJ can auto-detect my location. Relaxing weekend
Friday: was very efficient and got so much work done. Followed the stupid balloon boy story on Metafilter so I could keep up with the latest jokes. In the evening we had drinks at Aiden's place to celebrate her birthday.

Have spent today writing, catching up on stuff I bookmarked last week when I was full of deadlines, calling friends, and pondering the movies I saw this week.

...as I wait for the bus. Today is T-1 for my two deadlines. I'm still getting new content sent to me, as if it's going to get done.

Ain't no time
Ugh, have been so busy this week I haven't had time to update. But things in general are good.

... I just managed to beat a (freelance) work problem that was threatening to wreck all my deadlines. I cannot wait for the day when I no longer have to cater to the stupidity that is Internet Explorer 6. What I did on the weekend
Friday: worked very hard.
Friday night: Pub crawl with people from work. Photos on FB, not my account. Much fun was had, I even sang one song at karaoke at the end. Dave couldn't get in to Tiger Lil's with his shoes, so he wandered off to buy some new ones and wore those for the rest of the night.
