Resolutions
001. Use the Wii Fit on a regular basis (but try not to let the test results bother me).
002. Focus on writing, whether it's several little things, a big project, or both, just WRITE.
003. Also, read, for inspiration and entertainment, not because it's required.
004. Look into new music (or at least new to me) often. I may be missing some good stuff.
005. Following that, post to my music blog more often. I can write and have an opinion. Use BOTH.
006. Open up GIMP more often, I'm really getting the hang of graphics now, keep working on it.
007. Clean up my LJ...the tags, the comms, the f-list, the memories, everything.
008. Do my best to find a job for the fall.
009. Actually update this thing.
010. Keep that notebook on me, and write down the idea when it comes. DON'T LET IT DIE.

Patrick Stump. Ever since I said, "I've heard so much about these guys, maybe I should check them out," years ago, I've had a thing for Patrick. I haven't quite figured out what it is, but I'm guessing his voice has something to do with it. He's just fifty kinds of adorable.

David Tennant. I started watching Doctor Who on a whim. A lot of people liked it and him, and I wanted to check it out. David Tennant as the Doctor was almost the greatest thing ever. As sad as I am that he's leaving the series, I'm patiently awaiting an NBC pilot here in the states that he's in. I think he's a great actor, him being Scottish doesn't hurt much either.

Apolo Ohno. I don't normally like athletes. For some reason, I just like Apolo. I get incredibly defensive when it comes to his disqualification during the 500m this year. However, what I don't really care for would be that thing on his chin.

Mark Salling. One of those actors from Glee. I'm not sure whether I love Puck or Mark because Puck's got that bad boy thing going on combined with his love of glee club and his friends, and it's pretty hot. On the other hand, that's Mark's voice. I wasn't a huge fan of the album he released outside of Glee, but it shows potential.

I've Learned...
I can be excessively over-sensitive (this sounds redundant, but it's true) when it's that time. Somehow, I manage to hold it together until I'm somewhere private, so it isn't out in the open. I won't yell at someone or break down at work or in public, but I must be a pain in the ass to live with when I get home.

When I make a goal for myself, want to do it, write it down, make some kind of personal contract with myself, I tend to follow through. I've already managed to do some of the things I wanted to do this year. It's all a matter of sitting down and doing it, and I've done a lot. It remains to be seen if I can keep up with it, but I'm hoping that what's been happening is an indication of what's to come because I'm happier when I do these things I said I wanted to do.

I'm stubborn about just about anything from my own life to speed skating. I'll get defensive about something I care about. I may have known that for a while, but it's becoming more obvious the older I get.

When I'm busy and involved in something, time flies. I don't know where the last year has gone. Sadly, this means my writing suffered in the last month, and that is not what I wanted. I'll try to do better. I'd much rather write than waste time.
