Well... she played for a bit. And they won, which was cool. Go Women's Soccer....

I went to see Paul Rusesabagina, the general manager of the Mille Collines Hotel in Rwanda (the real life man that 'Hotel Rwanda' is based on). It was at the Citadel and Sarah made us show up like an hour early to make sure we got seats. And they were pretty good. Third row, but the first non-reserved one. He gave a brief introduction, then talked about his experiences during the Rwandan genocide of 1994 in the hotel. It was really interesting and amazing to hear about these stories, and to know that they actually happened... that the world let them happen... and that it's happening again in Darfur.

You ever think about how it's weird to see a teacher of yours outside of class? Well... it was definitely weird seeing my Western Civ professor out of class. I barely could manage to say hello... I don't know how to explain it. It was just weird. Like, you try to say hey and they kind of miss it, then they try to say hey and you kind of miss it and you're both kind of unsure if the other said hey or if they're even going to acknowledge you... Weird.

But we talked about the lecture a little before the discussion in class today. So that was cool. To see what a professor thought about the presentation and compare it to how I saw it. Interesting.

I had my interview for SAA today. I hope it works out. I think I interviewed fairly well... so we'll see, I guess.
