With Raiche on board, I couldn't believe how fast I managed to finish Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.
I finished the game last weekend, and now I'm looking forward to spend my weekend to make games instead of playing it. I've bought myself a legal copy of RPGMaker VX, and I'm beginning to write myself a small, simple sample game. I've added some advanced functions to the game, courtesy of the scripting gods of RPG RPG Revolution. Of course, I made some advanced functions myself, courtesy of the wonderful cooperation between Raiche and Amethyst. They work well together, perhaps a little awkward at first, but they warmed up to each other eventually.
Making a game is very much like making a story. In fact, if you don't have a story, you don't have a game. Cassie, Archie, and Ko are working hand in hand to make me a good and giddy story to be put as the central story of the game. Aria hangs around them, but since this game is going to be much more public than my stories, I'm not letting her make a contribution :p
I'm gonna let the story stew a bit over the weekend and see how it turns out. Hopefully, a demo can be done by the end of May.
Cheers,
