I've been playing Super Paper Mario after my failure in getting Brawl last weekend. It was amazing. I can't believe how the simple, platform-jumping little mustached man can still grab my attention. I'm about two-thirds way done in just two weekends. I'm gonna hunt for Brawl again this coming weekend, just so I won't have any waiting time between finishing Paper and (finally) starting Brawl.
On another note, my car needs an oil change. I was supposed to change it last Wednesday. Now it's already over 150km overdue (change it to miles yourself, you non-metric user), and it's going to get over 300km overdue this weekend. Since I got too caught up in Paper last weekend to be bothered with such a trivial thing as an oil change (it seemed so trivial compared to playing at the moment), I'm going to have to (gulp) schedule my weekend.
It's been a while since I had to write a schedule for my weekend. I usually just wing it. But I've got a lot of things to do this weekend I kinda need one. First of all, the thing that can be done the earliest: Getting a package from the post office. Then from there I guess I can go to the garage to have an oil change, then perhaps off to the local mart for a haircut (my dad said I need one, and when it's my dad who said it, then I need a haircut).
That's going to take at least half a day. Oh, well, might as well take my notes with me and start scribbling stuff for my RMVX game. I still need to have to iron out some of the kinks from the events and scripts and maps and everything. It's a hard job for one guy, but it's a good stress reliever (as well as some stress bringer, heh)
