I don't even use my scrapbook and this is really frustrating.

I don't mind change, but I like a little warning. LJ is notorious for implementing changes without telling people about them.

I've got about half here and half on photobucket. Plus, I have some screencaps on mediafire.

That's the problem with virtual storage, though. Our files are at the mercy of the virtual gods.

So basically we either have to switch to the new scrapbook service, or not be able to post images at all. There's no option to stick with the old format? They don't even provide any screenshots of the new service's layout or anything.

I was waffling about posting art from another site, but I think this might be the final straw. Since it's only a week till the new Scrapbook is launched, I'll wait to see how it is before I decide for sure.

If you look at the first post on this comm you can see a screenshot of the new scrapbook.

As far as I know, there is no option for sticking with what we have now. At some point, everyone's pictures will be migrated to the new scrapbook.

I really love how livejournal tells us nothing and rarely responds to suggestions and concerns. What a company.

Darn. If I scroll down the page on that link I can see a screenshot of the new system. We can't actually use it to see how it works, unfortunately.

WTF lj. The progressive making of unpaid accounts completely useless is getting old, srs. I got a note mine is expiring soon - NOT A HINT, YOU. - and I'm tempted to let it. I did miss it last time ngl, but with the limited time I'll have once snicklet is here, and my general annoyance with them just not deserving it...I. Bluh just don't know. I'm sorry about your russian woes. How frickin' annoying.
