Um. 'nother WTF review, again for Guardian:
Hi guys. Misquotations are the only quotations that are never misquoted. Help me! It has to find sites on the: Payday loan. I found only this - vintage Flea. Flea beetles are common pests of cruciferous crops on the prairies. To celebrate the kickoff, the soho store is throwing a party from pm to pm tonight featuring red hook food vendors, nunu chocolates, and a special madewell themed beer from the brooklyn brew shop. So happy belated to all you Yanks down there ;) and um hopefully you guys had better weather than we did because it was sopping crazy wet yesterday. Not to mention Canada Day was a rollercoaster of sun/rain/sun/rain. So yep, hope you had fun :)
I had to pick up some skin moisturiser besides my groceries today because my excellent Neutrogena one that I've been using for years has run out, and they apparently discontinued it? So I've got Aveeno this time (is it good? It's the only non-comedogenic moisturiser I could find). And I picked up two eye shadows because they were on sale ;) I've been thinking about getting some light green for a while because it makes my eyes greener than they already are, and the orangey pink matches so ha.
Apart from that I went to my old job IGA (grocery store) and my old boss was in my face the whole time I was paying, though I don't think she recognised me. And I was told in the parking lot by two thirty-ish guys that I'm a beautiful woman. In English. I dunno if they thought I couldn't understand so I told them so and they were like "but it's truuuue" so I shot back with a big thanks :) I'm wearing one of mum's peasant skirts I turned into a dress with a belt, so that must be why the attention was so focused. But anyway, all that to say (and I swear there's a point to this ramble) I was looking at recipes yesterday and kept thinking to myself "gosh, mum never makes anything anymore, I should make something just to show I don't totally suck". Besides, the results won't be eaten by anyone else but me so why not, right? So I just made a frozen yogurt with honey and cinammon (besides yogurt of course). I saw this amazing recipe with shrimps and scallops, too, so... I don't know when I'll make that but I'm really excited! /food whoring.
That's... pretty much all I did today because I woke up late. Going outside to enjoy the sun before locking myself in the office tomorrow, but jsyk, I finally finished the At Your Service, Miss fic commentary last night. Will type later today, and hopefully post, too.
