101 things to do in 1001 days

Jan 12, 2009 15:37

Right. I don't know if you have the habit of checking the LJ spotlights, but I do. Sometimes I find real jewels there, such as the mission101_2009 community. The idea is to set 101 goals to be fulfilled in 1001 days, which I found much more interesting and specific than my New Year Resolutions (it doesn't mean I won't work on them, too). Here is my list:

1.    Learn to play my guitar
2.    Sing and play something in a family party (only one song is enough)
3.    Smile more
4.    Focus when working
5.    Develop good eating habits - such as drinking more juice and less soda; reducing the intake of junk food and increasing the intake of salads; and drinking at least 8 water glasses per day
6.    Drink a cup of green tea every day (or some other tea that I find tasty)
7.    Lose 40 pounds (no, I am not kidding) (0/40)
8.    Exercise at least three times a week
9.    Learn ballroom dancing until my cousin's wedding, in September 2009
10.    Dance an entire song with my cousin Claudio without stepping on his feet or making any kind of mistake
11.    Practice my Japanese at least until I get back to the point I was when I stopped classes
12.    Learn as much Spanish as I can on my own and then, only then, take classes
13.    Find myself a boyfriend - doesn't need to be a serious boyfriend - and let go, for once
14.    Go out more (for fun, not to buy groceries)
15.    Go back to practicing gymnastics, swimming or ballet
16.    Learn some martial art (not sure yet which one)
17.    Help Mum with her graduation thesis without actually doing it for her
