Work is going well. There are four kids in the class I'm assigned to, and six aides, but it works. We're supposed to get more kids next year, and the summer session is booked full. I will have to share fun stories about these fun little guys later. They are adorable, and the behaviour problems are not anywhere near the level of the ones I had to deal with at PACE. And on the bright side, our benefits will kick in after one month. So I can finally get my stupid teeth fixed! Which is good, cause I've had an ongoing headache that doesn't stop for a while now thanks to the wisdom tooth I have that's growing in sideways and shoving the molar I just had fixed last year over.
On the downside, we get paid once a month- at the END of the month. And since I started on April 30th, I won't be getting paid until May 31st. o_O After being out of work for a month, that wasn't the best news to hear. Having money for gas to get to work and for food etc should be interesting...
I got a call from a movie theatre too! They want me to come in for an interview on Monday when I get out of work. So I guess I might wind up with a second job nights/weekends at a theatre. Should be fun. On the up-side, free movies. :) I can dig that. Lots of movies I want to see this year coming out!
Hmm, what else? It's my birthday on the 23rd this month. I don't think we have any plans yet, but we're hoping to do something.
Anyhoo, Boo should be almost home from work now, so I gotta jam. At least there's no traffic heading to her house at this hour! LOL
Oh, and we'll be at ealasaidh and antwondotcom's wedding tomorrow afternoon. If you happen to know either of them, hopefully you know they're getting hitched! ;) Send them your best wishes. ^_^
