There are some things I would not do for a Klondike bar

So the wife and I went camping over the weekend. As always, we learned a few tricks for the next time. However, my Magical Fire Breath(tm) performed well, as always. And oh-em-gee, Shades State Park is beautiful. There's this place called "Lovers Leap". We walked out there and lept (not off the platform, just in place). Anywho, it is a nice view with a hundred or so foot drop straight down. It wasn't all good, though. It was kinda chilly on Friday night. The campground was pretty full, but it was no big deal, except for the loud group of collegy-students nearby. They mostly behaved themselves, I guess, but they were loud and it made it hard to fall asleep. Saturday night we enjoyed a free concert from the local coyotes. Hooray!

So, let me preface this by saying: I really do enjoy being a home owner. But leaves totally suck. I raked the leaves out of the front yard. It took me several hours over two days, and that doesn't even cover the side yard, etc. The worst part is that most of the leaves are still in the trees. But the city has already come by to suck them up off the street, so that works. We're trying to make some big leaps in the house work over the next few weeks. We're going to paint the den, and I've got some winterizing work to do in the basement. We'll see how much of it actually gets done. So there.
