Friday morning I sat in the school food court reading about electrocardiograms.

I noticed a young guy nearby reading a novel entitled SLUT!

Life isn't fair.

Stephen White again uses familiar characters - clinical psychologist Dr. Alan Gregory and Detective Sam Purdy. This time their investigating the death of his friend Adrienne (the Urologist)’s husband. Found naked and tied to a piano on a stage. We finished this on our ride home from from New Hampshire.

Began Crichton's Rising Sun.

After camp, we drove to Hazleton to meet my mom and her work. We met a few of the women that she works with. Went to her house and took a nap. We then took her out to the Powerhouse for a birthday dinner. Gene declined due to back problems.

I haven’t seen the movie yet.  The book wasn’t as compelling as Harris’s previous ones.  You actually develop an empathy with the child monster, and begin routing for him.  It takes a while to get into the good gore though.

This weekend I finished writing C-Gulls. Now the sorting and building begins.

On Saturday we had lunch at Home Depot. That’s right, it was a grand opening, only a couple of blocks away and they were giving away free hot dogs and drinks (non-alcoholic). We toured the store and picked up a couple of items. We then went to BJ’s, Staples & A&P.
