I woke from a nightmare this morning at six. I was driving to work and I was going to be late. I was pulling a long trailer for some reason. I had other people in the car too; friends or family, I'm not sure. We had to stop for road construction, and I was panicking because I was getting later all the time. I have two-and-a-half hours of dog walking with four dogs lined up today, all on the north shore. It's getting a little chilly, so I'm wearing my arm warmers, which I really adore. Then, this evening, I have three hours of volunteering with the dogs at EAS. Yay doggies!

Apparently, no library job. So today, I started doing dog walking for Wag again. It's been two months, and I only yesterday started thinking about doing it again. I walked four dogs over a total of about 7 or 8 miles and made $75 before taxes (which I have to deal with myself as a 10-99 contractor). On Wednesday, HR at the place I applied had checked my references and said they'd get back to me, "most likely tomorrow", with the next steps. Yesterday, I emailed in the morning and left voice mail in the afternoon to follow up but still have not heard back. It seems I'm going to have to start a real job hunt again today.
