The Six Pieces

The Six Pieces are beings that can also roam in the Dirge Plane, but, unlike the characters, they are not attacked by the Childes. The Shadows seem to cling to them viciously, however, making it impossible to figure out details. They sometimes walk in daylight, but even so, you will not see anything but shadows.

Apparently, they cannot be seen by the citizens and only by those pulled from other worlds, so they seem to have a sort of attachment to them. As time passes, they give out small pieces of information that can help the characters both fight and know about the Dirge Plane and what happened to that world.

Father
The one that tends to come in contact with the Dirge Dwellers, Father, He Who Met God, is an anguished figure, usually appearing smoking a cigarette. He seems to be the most human of the Six, perhaps clinging to what he once was. He is perhaps the most impartial character of the Six.

Sinner
Slightly twisted, the Sinner, She Who Once Laughed at God, seems to be the opposite of Father. Enigmatic and perverse, she likes to flicker the lights shut from time to time in the Dirge Plane. She is clearly completely nude, but the cloak of shadows obscures her. She seems to have a big influence on the Childes and the Dirge Plane.

Twins
A strange figure, the Twins, Forever Entwined in Duality, are also bathed in light, making their pattern rather like a zebra's, but still concealed enough so that no details are shown. They are both male and female in what seems to be two bodies merged into one. They are able to create light where there is none.

Cerberus
The most bestial in appearance of all Six, Cerberus, The One Bound to Serve, can make all Childes tremble in fear. He can destroy any Childe with a simple pawing. Breaking the rules, however, will involve Cerberus to come out and show discipline upon a Dirge Dweller.

Fallen
A completely naked figure, wrapped in shadows, the Fallen, the Unforgiven Guardian, is a mysterious figure that seems to side with the Childes more often than not, as if he believes that he is one of them. You can see a thunderstorm like light causing havoc inside of him, as if he is undecided in whether to help or destroy.

Innocence
The most mysterious figure, a child-like, untalking shadow, Innocence, the Lost Child, almost never appears but when it does, it seems to hold quite the knowledge and power over the Dirge Plane.
