It was Sunday, and no work was happening on her house, so Orla thought it safe to sit on her front porch and enjoy the fresh air. She was tired of being stuck in the apartment, and had no idea how anyone could stand to live in such a small place.
She rocked back in her chair, eyes drifting shut in contentment. When she opened them, she saw Marcus approaching. She gave him a lazy smile.
