Romilda returned home after the Quidditch day, begging off early to make a few preparations. She had left Liam with the boys, and hopefully they would bring Dennis along to look at Liam's new toys.
She made a mad dash through the kitchen, putting out plates, cups and cutlerly, and with her wand, pulling out all sorts of things from the fridge. She could whip up a few dozen little hor'dourves quickly as they had a tonne of bread, and she had plenty of cheese and tomatoes.
The idea to make a few pizzas suddenly struck and she turned on the oven to start warming it up. There was plenty to drink in the fridge, but she hoped everyone might bring a little something.
Somewhere in a drawer was the left over streamers from her own surprise party - the one that Cormac had planned for her and Colin.
Within moments she had the streamers stuck to the ceiling with a few deft flicks of the wand. A charm she remembered Terry showing her quickly had sparkly letters floating up near the ceiling. "Happy Birthday Dennis" was now bobbing up and down above the window. It made her giggle.
She had just put together the first plate of hor'dourves when she heard a knock at the door.
