Date: 24 February 2005 Characters: Ron Weasley, Molly Weasley, Bill Weasley Location: Their respective houses Status: Private Summary: Ron owls his mum and Bill about having dinner together. Completion: Incomplete
That sounds absolutely lovely! Have you made plans for your birthday, then? Perhaps with a ladyfriend? I know you don't like to see my pry, darling, but I think a woman around would do you good, don't you agree? You must tell me what you'd like as a present. Twenty-five years is quite the milestone. I remember for my twenty-fifth your father took me to London for a weekend away and it was simply thrilling. I don't mind telling you that I got quite drunk on the first night and so don't exactly remember it, but he was smart enough to pack the hangover potion, wasn't he! We saw a Muggle play. Extraordinary

Bill says any night is fine with him. So if you're available Wednesday, then please come Wednesday evening and I'll make sure Bill does too.
Actually, Mum, we live in the house at 33 Alpha Lane, just past the edge of the Burrow property. I don't know what Harry's plans are that night, or Hermione's, so I can't say whether you'll see either of them that night, but I'm sure they would be glad to see you. If you'd like to bring a cake in honour of my birthday, that would be great. I'm not much of a cook yet, but I'm learning. So I'll try not to poison you and Bill with my cooking.
It's good to hear from you, mate! I'm free whenever Mum's free. Billiards sounds brilliant and you'll have to tell me more about this bird. Don't think I can't read your crossed out words.
Mum says she's free Wednesday night, so come to my house at 6 o'clock. I'm cooking and Mum's bringing a cake so we can have a little early birthday party. I think I might be celebrating my birthday three nights in a row, actually, as there's a big party for me Friday night at Xanadu. You should have got an owl about it by now.
The bird is Lavender Brown. I've known her since first year at Hogwarts, and we've been seeing each other since before Christmas. She's a mediwitch at the hospital and she works with Gin sometimes. She's a great girl. I think you would like her. But we're not engaged or anything like that, just going out exclusively.
