Dear Mum,

I stopped in at the Five Alarm last night after work. I saw Ginny there but not you. Sorry I missed you. I've not forgot that you wanted to have dinner with me and Bill some time soon. Are you free Sunday, Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday this coming week? You've not been to my house yet. We could have dinner here if you want. I'm not promising anything fancy but I could scare up something.

Dear Bill,

I'm trying to get together with Mum for dinner this coming week. I don't know yet when she's available but I suggested Sunday, Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. I'm sort of keeping Thursday open for my girlfriend other things, being it's my birthday. Anyway, let me know if you can get together this week. We've still got that billiards table I told you about.
