Lavender smiled as Ron showed her around his house, seeming kind of enthusiastic. It was a nice-looking place too, some of it familiar from when she had spent the night with Ron. Her smile broadened into a grin when Ron mentioned showing her around upstairs later, his expression giving her slight butterflies in her stomach.

"Um, yeah, a drink would be nice," Lavender agreed, reaching up to tighten her ponytail where it had come loose during the meeting. "I'll try some of the beer if that's okay." She shook her head when Ron mentioned food, slipping her satchel from her shoulder; it was a little different than her usual handbag, but a bit more useful. "Actually, I brought some food with me, if you're hungry."

"Oh right," he said when she mentioned bringing food. "Yeah, that was our deal. You provide the food, I provide the entertainment. So what did you bring?"

He pulled a couple of bottles of Harp from the fridge, set them on the counter and popped the tops off magically. Then he sat down next to Lavender at the counter and watched her dig in her satchel. "That a new bag?"

"Ummm... no. Actually, I think I've had this bag since seventh year or something like that!" Lavender laughed, realising just how old it was. "I don't use it very often; it just gets kept in the back of a cupboard, usually."

She pulled out a couple of containers, Muggle plastic box things that she'd put a couple of extra charms on just to keep things safe and hot. "I just realised that I never asked you what you wanted to eat," she said, prising the lid off one. "But I brought a chicken curry and some rice. Is that alright? It's not particularly hot," she added.

"Ah, seventh year... Well, no wonder I've not seen it. It looks very handy," he said, watching as she pulled out several containers. "Chicken curry is fine. I'll eat pretty much anything except corned beef and brussels sprouts. But I think I would've smelled brussels sprouts so yeah, good that you didn't bring any." He scrunched up his nose in mock disgust.

"What do you mean, not particularly hot? You mean not spicy?" When the trio had been traveling, Ron had tasted a few curry dishes. "I've had curry only a few times, when we were in India. I liked it fine, even the spicier types."

He went to the cupboard and retrieved two plates and some cutlery. "I still don't like to do that magically," he explained. "Never liked the thought of plates or knives or forks zooming toward me, y'know?"

Lavender nodded, blushing slightly, trying not to imagine what would have happened if Hermione or Harry had walked in on a kiss like that. Memories of what they had been like at Hogwarts resurfaced, making her feel a little uncomfortable.

"That's alright," she told him quietly. "I understand, so don't worry." Lavender gave a lop-sided smile. "I've got no desire for an unwanted audience." She reluctantly moved away from his comfortable embrace. "Yeah, let's go upstairs. I'd love to see the game room - lead the way!"

Ron helped Lavender up from the sofa and led her up the stairs until they reached the top of the house.

"Well, here it is," he said, waving an arm toward the room. "We haven't used it very much yet. I don't think I've played billiards since Christmas. Do you know how to play? I'm not very good so I don't think I could teach you."

"It's a gorgeous room," Lavender said, looking around in surprise. Ron was right, though: it did look a little unused. She giggled, shaking her head. "No, I don't know how to play," she said, eyeing the billiard table almost a little warily. "I tried to play pool once but I was kind of rubbish. Awful, actually." She wrinkled her nose.

Moving away from Ron, Lavender crossed over to a window, peering out at the darkened view of the town. "Not a bad view," she remarked, turning to smile at Ron. "You've got a really nice house."

"Yeah, it is a nice room," he replied. It was too bad he was rubbish at billiards himself; it would be fun to stand behind her and help her move the cue. "We were lucky to find the house. It's really close to where I grew up and my mum's living just down the road. It wasn't in bad shape when we found it, mostly full of dust from no one living here."

He crossed the room and stood behind Lavender, wrapping his arms around her shoulders while they looked out into the night. "View's good too," he said, giving her a little squeeze. "I've never looked out this window at night." He remembered flying at night a few times during the war. The circumstances weren't fun, but there was something exciting about flying in the moonlight with the wind ruffling his robes and stinging his cheeks.

"Have you flown on a broom at all since those lessons we had in first year?" he asked softly.

Lavender chewed on her lower lip for a moment. Ron's experience (or lack thereof) wasn't something they'd really mentioned before, but it was something she'd had an inkling about. The beginning of her involvement with Ron had overlapped a little with what she'd had with Blaise Zabini, and there was no way she could deny the differences between them. It was better with Ron, though, even if he was inexperience, because she didn't feel so shy or vulnerable around him.

"Everything up until now has been very enjoyable," she assured him softly. "So it's definitely been helpful." She smiled. "Is that where you got the idea for, um," Lavender glanced over at the door, "the last time I was here?" Even if it wasn't, Ron's book seemed to be giving him a lot of help and she wasn't adverse to trying something else. "Was there anything in particular you had in mind?"

"Er, yeah, I got the idea from the book," he admitted. With someone else, someone he'd not known as long, he might've lied about it, but he found himself wanting to be honest with her. Lavender was the first girl he'd ever kissed and the first girl he'd shagged for any reason beyond just getting off. Since they started shagging more or less regularly she'd never seemed to be disappointed by anything he'd done. Being with her had given him a bit of confidence about his ability to please women in bed. Or maybe he was just feeling more confident about his ability to please her. "And no, I didn't have anything special in mind. Just wondered if you did."

He gave a soft laugh. "I'm over-thinking, aren't I? That's rich." He rolled his eyes. "We should just keep snogging and things will go however they go, right? I 'spose the big question now is, do we just undress and get into bed or should we take each other's clothes off a bit more slowly? We've always been in a bit of a rush before now."

Lavender grinned. "Don't be sorry about over-thinking," she told him, shaking her head. "It's sweet that you want to think so much about... us." She nearly said 'me', but stopped herself at the last moment: although that was a conversation she wanted to have at some point, perhaps now wasn't the time. She pressed a kiss to the side of his mouth, fingers skimming down his thigh.

"How about a bit more slowly?" she suggested with a small smile, her lips brushing against his and sure that something good would happen if they just went with it. "I'm in no rush to go anywhere and, well, there's definitely no harm in a bit of, um, foreplay." Lavender lowered her head, kissing slowly down his throat.

She said he was being sweet. For some reason, coming from her, that made him blush. If her fingers kept moving like that, he was sure he would stop thinking entirely, much less over-thinking.

"Foreplay," he murmured as she pressed kisses slowly down his throat, "sounds brilliant."

As Ron thrust into her, Lavender felt him touch a spot she hadn't even thought about in a long time. She arched her back, a rumbling moan ripping itself from her throat. So wrapped up in it, her legs went around his waist and her gripped his arms as she tried to tell him not to stop but no words would come out. Breathing ragged, Lavender gasped as another orgasm rippled through her.

"Oh, Ron. Please. Come for me." Lavender whimpered as he thrust in again, the sensations nearly too much for her now. "Please."

At the end of Ron's last stroke against that spot, Lavender gasped and shivered. Even though she was relatively quiet, he could tell he'd made her come again. Raising an eyebrow, he gave an almost triumphant grin and thrust into her harder and faster. He was hot and sticky, his chest and forehead glazed with sweat as he quicked the pace. If anyone had ever told him that a really good fuck was such hard work, he'd never have believed them, but every time he and Lavender shagged they both ended up slick and smelly and boneless ( ... )

Trust him? Yes, of course she trusted him. Completely. Lavender nodded in answer, only to find herself turned onto her stomach. She gasped in surprise, clenching around his cock as he thrust into her from behind. She was getting a little a little too sensitive now, but couldn't deny that this felt good.

When Ron gave a final groan, falling onto her, Lavender gave soft moan, his hot body on top of hers feeling just right. "Oh, god. That was... I think I'm going to have to read that book sometime," Lavender managed to say with a tired laugh.

"It's a good book if you want to learn more about sex," he said, trying to catch his breath. "Which I do." He lay still on top of her for a moment, still breathing heavily, then slid off to the side and rubbed her back slowly while she looked at him with heavy-lidded eyes. "Never tried that before. It's different. You know, like animals do it. But, um," his voice got softer, "I like face to face better. I like seeing how you look."

If he was only in this for the sex, this new position would probably be just fine; it certainly got him off quickly. But he wanted more from Lavender, he realised, than just pumping into her cunt. He could that with some slag from Exeter if he wanted to.
